Introduction to spectroscopy

 ‘A day at livsmedelsverket’


    A tutorial at which students are to analyze two different wines with respect to quality and safety. For this I digitized literature spectra of wines obtained from different spectroscopic methods. I altered the spectra in a way that one wine contains significant amounts of heavy metal residues which can be found in wine due to over-fertilization. Additionally, one wine contains significant amounts of methanol and more acidity. The aim of the seminar is that the students get introduced to different spectroscopic techniques and learn to decide which technique is appropriate for which question.
