Apart from the publications (including the bachelor, master, licentiate and PhD theses), there are some specific milestone achievements worth mentioning.
Work achievements
- The website of Chemical Physics department (created a content management system based on the Protégé ontology editor and wrote the necessary XSLT style sheets for it).

Served as the main driving force behind creation of the new technique - 2D polarisation single-molecule spectroscopy (produced most of the key ideas and wrote all the software; the experimental part was driven by Ivan Scheblykin with help from Daniel Thomsson).

- Wrote a package of software that is crucial for the work of the Single molecule spectroscopy group.

Succeeded in designing and fabricating an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) from a novel lanthanide complex (August 2002, FIAN, Moscow, Russia):
Sportive achievements
- Hiked to the top of Mount Elbrus (5642 m) - the highest mountain of the geographical Europe.
- Have been on more than 15 downhill skiing trips and 6 hiking/mountaineering trips.
- Weightlifting: as of 2006, was capable of making 12 squats with 96 kg, 7 bench presses with 87 kg and 11 dead lifts with 126 kg.
