Travel information

Arrival at Malmö Airport "Sturup"

Malmö Airport Sturup (tel:040-613 11 00) has frequent national [Stockholm's airports (Arlanda, Bromma)] and international connections.

There is a bus service (Flygbussarna) to Lund. Go to terminus Ideon. Please, call for us (phone 046-222 8131) before you go on the bus so that we can pick you up when you arrive. Taxi should go to reception of Chemical Center, Getingevägen 60. Please, call us from there (dial 8131 at the entrance phone) and we will come and let you in. You can order Taxi from:

Note: Unfortunately, there are several non-serious drivers at the time
. Be sure to check the price (250-300 SEK) before you take the taxi. Taxis have yellow number plates.

Arrival atCopenhagen Airport "Kastrup"

Copenhagen's Airport Kastrup is situated in Denmark close to the Swedish border (Öresund). It offers all kinds of international connections. From the train station in the basement of the airport, trains with destination Göteborg (only Øresundtåg, not X2000), Växjö, Kristianstad, or Kalmar are running directly to Lund once a hour, approximately. Otherwise (e.g. at night) take a train to Malmö and switch there to local train (Pågatågen). Please check the time tables and prices (Skånetrafiken) and ask your traveling agency for a combined flight/train ticket to Malmö. From Lund Central station continue as follows:

Arrival at Lund Central by train or bus

From Lund Central you can take "Lundalänken" busses (lines 6, 20, 21, or 166; follow the signpost) to stop Ideon. Please, call us (phone 046-222 8131) before you go on the bus so that we can pick you up when you arrive. There are also taxis available at the central station. Go to reception of Chemical Center, Getingevägen 60 (price ~80 SEK). Please, call us from there (dial 8131 at the entrance phone) and we will let you in. Some overland busses also stop at Universitets sjukhuset. From there you can take Lundalänken busses as well. For schedules of national trains and overland busses see Tåg plus.

If you are coming by car

From motorway E22 exit Lund N (see map, right upper corner) via E6 (Norra ringen) to Getingevägen (double roundabout). Follow Getingevägen in south-west direction till next crossing and turn left to Kemicentrum's reception. There stop and call us (dial 8131 at the entrance phone) to let you in.
