  Physics.&nbsp\;Chiral lead halide perovskites are an emergent type of sem
 iconductors that have shown promising results for spintronic applications.
  The addition of a chiral molecule as a long chain ligand between the pero
 vskite structures adds a new degree of freedom and new tuning&nbsp\;possib
 ilities. In this Master Thesis project we investigate the spin dynamics of
  (R/S/RAC-MBA)2PbI4&nbsp\;with circularly polarized transient absorption (
 CP-TA) and obtain the spin lifetimes by two different approaches: the gene
 ralized intensity difference found in literature and a new kinetic model t
 hat separates the carrier decay into its different contributions.&nbsp\;In
  this seminar\, Jan will present the&nbsp\;results obtained and how both m
 ethods confirm polarization-dependent dynamics and add new insights into t
 he quantification of spin relaxation rates in chiral hybrid perovskites.\n
